Casualties reported in the Kyiv Region as a result of a Russian attack on 6 July. As of 07:30, 15 residents of the Region have been injured, 11 of them are in hospitals. Among the injured is a 9-month-old girl. The number of casualties may increase. One person has been killed.
This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk. He urged people to stay in shelters until the all-clear.
Update. The most difficult situation is in Vyshneve, Bucha district. Due to the threat of repeated detonation of explosive objects, being near the impact site is extremely dangerous. The area has been cordoned off by police.
Police officers and rescuers are carrying out evacuations as needed.
For safety reasons, on certain sections of the railway traffic operations have been temporarily changed. Ukrzaliznytsya is already using backup routes. The restrictions affect trains No. 93 Kharkiv–Chełm, No. 134 Kamyanets-Podilskyy–Kyiv, No. 94 Chełm–Kharkiv, No. 43 Dnipro–Ivano-Frankivsk, and No. 104 Lviv–Lozova. In the Fastiv direction, bus service has been arranged between Boyarka and Kyiv.
In addition to Bucha district, Brovary and Vyshhorod districts were also affected.
“Private homes, businesses, and other civilian infrastructure facilities have been damaged. All emergency services are working on site, and the aftermath of the shelling is being dealt with,” Kalashnyk added.
- On the night of 6 July, Russia carried out another combined attack on the capital region. There is damage in several districts of Kyiv, including high-rise buildings.
