Denmark has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine worth €590 million. This was reported by the press service of the Danish Embassy in Kyiv.

The additional package includes ammunition, weapons, and other military equipment for Ukraine’s Defence Forces, as well as additional funding for Danish training programmes for Ukrainian service members.

“Denmark stands firmly with Ukraine. Ukraine’s fight for freedom is also Europe’s fight, and we cannot afford to let Ukrainians down now, when it matters most. At the same time, we must also learn from Ukrainians when it comes to strengthening Denmark’s combat capability, which was also the focus of my visit to Ukraine,” said Danish Defence Minister Jeppe Bruus during a visit to Kyiv on 29 June.

The embassy noted that since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Denmark has already provided Ukraine with military assistance totalling about €10.3 billion.
