The command of the 17th Army Corps has responded to a video address by servicemembers of the 108th Separate Territorial Defence Brigade and assured that it is working to resolve problems with supplies and rotations.
The corps explained that logistics in the area are extremely complicated due to the activity of Russian electronic warfare systems. As a result, units periodically lose drones that deliver food to positions. Laying new routes takes additional time, so additional UAV crews from neighboring units have already been brought in to deliver supplies. All support services remain in constant contact with the troops, the command said.
In addition, specialists in psychological support and civil-military cooperation held talks with the families of servicemembers. Relatives were told the reasons for unsuccessful attempts to replace the troops, including heavy mining of access routes and constant attacks by Russian FPV drones.
The command stresses that it is doing everything possible to preserve the lives and health of personnel.
