In the village of Bilenke in Donetsk Region, rescuers have completed emergency response operations at the site of a Russian airstrike and recovered the bodies of three people from the rubble.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
According to the State Emergency Service, overnight Russian aircraft struck the private residential area of the village of Bilenke in Donetsk Region with three guided aerial bombs. The munitions hit two homes where people were inside at the time.
Emergency response operations at the attack site lasted about 17 hours. While clearing the debris, emergency workers recovered the bodies of three victims.
Rescuers and municipal services were involved in dealing with the aftermath of the strike. In total, they removed 25 tonnes of destroyed building structures and extinguished fires covering an area of 180 square metres.
Emergency response operations have now been completed.
