Ukraine's Defence Ministry is introducing the YouControl analytical platform to enable faster and more comprehensive vetting of companies seeking to supply goods for the Armed Forces.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence.

The ministry said the platform will allow its specialists to assess potential suppliers through a single interface instead of consulting dozens of separate state registers.

The system is designed to quickly identify potential risks, including links to Russia, outstanding debts, criminal proceedings and other factors that could affect a company's reliability. Risks identified through the automated analysis will then be reviewed by ministry specialists.

The partnership also provides for training Defence Ministry staff to use modern analytical tools for assessing risks in defence procurement.

The cooperation memorandum was signed by Deputy Defence Minister Mstyslav Banik and YouControl Deputy Director for Legal Affairs Danylo Hloba.

The ministry said the introduction of the platform is expected to make defence procurement faster, safer and more transparent while strengthening its internal risk management system.
