On the night of 27 August and into the morning, the Russian army terrorised Odesa and the region with shelling. There is damage, but as of the morning there were no reports of casualties.
This was reported by the head of the Military Administration Serhii Lysak.
“For almost the entire night and morning, the enemy terrorised Odesa. As a result of the attack, infrastructure, an educational institution and a multi-storey building were damaged,” he wrote.
Regional Administration head Oleh Kiper added that the attack on the region lasted about seven hours. The Russians deliberately struck the region’s civilian infrastructure with missiles and drones.
“A 16-storey residential building, two educational institutions and a private home were damaged. Infrastructure facilities, the elevator site, garages and residents’ cars were also damaged,” Kiper said.
