Russia attacked transport infrastructure in Odesa Region, injuring 13 people, according to updated information from regional authorities.

Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper said a fire broke out at one of the targeted facilities following the strike.

"As a result of the shelling, a fire broke out on the premises of one of the facilities," he said.

Initial reports put the number of injured at six, but by 17:20 the toll had risen to 13.

"Four of them have been hospitalised. Doctors assess one of the injured as being in serious condition, while the others are in a moderate condition," Kiper said.

All those injured are receiving the necessary medical care. Emergency crews are continuing to deal with the aftermath of the attack.
