In Kyiv, a night-time attack on 27 August caused significant damage to a gymnasium in the Shevchenkivskyi district. The blast wave also blew out windows at a municipal medical facility.
Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported this in the morning after the attack. There were also consequences in the Podilskyy district: debris fell into a courtyard between buildings.
“There are currently no casualties,” he said.
The air-raid threat in the capital persisted for most of the night. Russia attacked Ukrainian cities with missiles and drones.
