In the Sumy region, a 66-year-old resident of the Romny community was killed yesterday as a result of Russian attacks. Eight more people across the region were injured.
This was reported by the regional police.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out 48 attacks on 22 settlements in the Sumy Region, using guided aerial bombs, artillery, mortars and UAVs of various types.
In the Romny community, a 66-year-old woman was killed in a drone attack; women aged 69, 63 and 75, as well as a 69-year-old man, were injured.
In the Bilopillia community, a drone injured a man.
And in the Sumy community, a 27-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man sought medical attention; they were injured on 21 August as a result of a Russian UAV strike.
In the Seredyna-Buda community, a 71-year-old woman sought medical attention after being injured in a mortar attack on 24 August.
Police investigative teams and explosives experts worked at the strike sites.
