On the night of 11 September, starting from 18:00 the previous day, Russia launched 161 drones at Ukraine. Air defences neutralised 138 of them. Strikes were recorded at 19 locations, with debris falling in three other places.
“On the night of 11 September (from 18:00 on 10 September), the enemy attacked with an S8000 ‘Banderol’ (from Russia’s Belgorod region) and 161 strike UAVs of the Shahed type (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, and ‘Parodiya’ decoy drones from the following directions: Oryol, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk — Russia, the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk, and Hvardiiske — the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea,” they said.
The air attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defence Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defences shot down and suppressed 138 enemy Shahed-type UAVs, Gerbera, and drones of other types.
As of the morning, the attack is ongoing, with enemy UAVs in the airspace.
