The High Anti-Corruption Court has imposed a preventive measure on MP Vadym Stolar, a suspect in the “Femida” case, in the form of bail of 300 million hryvnias. Suspilne reported this, citing confirmation from the court’s press service.
According to the outlet’s sources in law enforcement, he was served with a notice of suspicion in absentia in August. At the time information about the exposure of the criminal group was made public — a group that Stolar is suspected of organising together with current MP Maksym Mykytas — he was abroad.
Ukrainska Pravda wrote that in September Vadym Stolar returned to Ukraine.
Investigators accuse him of interference with the operation of information systems committed during martial law, as well as other offences. According to NABU and SAPO, Vadym Stolar and Mykytas led a criminal group that engaged in corporate raiding of businesses and property, interfered with state registers and bribed judges.
This criminal group is also suspected of laundering funds to post bail for former minister Herman Halushchenko.
In addition to current and former MPs, Iryna Mudra is also a suspect; before the group was exposed, she was a deputy head of the Office of the President. In total, more than 10 people feature in the “Femida” and “Forrest Gump” cases.
Mudra and Mykytas were given preventive measures in the form of detention with the alternative of posting bail of 30 million and 20 million hryvnias. As of now, bail has not been posted for either of them.
Vadym Stolar
He began his business activity as a teenager. From 1999 to 2000, he worked as a manager at his parents’ travel company, “Yana”. From 2001 to 2007, he was the general director of Viddrodzhennia LLC.
In June 2020, he became the owner of the legal entities behind the pro-Russian TV channel “RABINOVICH TV” and “All News” (the latter’s digital licence was revoked by the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting on 30 October 2019). On their basis, the Kyiv.live channel was launched on 9 August 2020.

In 2006, he was elected a deputy of the Kyiv Regional Council on the list of the “Our Ukraine” bloc. In 2010, he became an MP of the 6th convocation of the Verkhovna Rada from the Party of Regions (No. 212 on the list), non-party. In 2014, he was elected a deputy of the Kyiv City Council in constituency No. 31 in Obolon as an independent candidate. He was the first deputy chair of the deputy commission on budget issues.
In 2014, he headed the Patronage Service of the Head of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA).
In 2019, he was elected an MP of the 9th convocation from the pro-Russian party OPZZh, No. 11 on the list, as a party member. A member of the faction of the same name. A member of the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy.
