Units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces struck a number of key military facilities belonging to Russian forces in the occupied territories and in Russia. The targets hit included Pantsir-S1 air defence missile and gun systems, a radar station and strike-drone launch sites.
The strike on enemy facilities was confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In Taganrog, Rostov Region, Russia, two Pantsir-S1 air defence missile and gun systems were hit. In Berezky, Bryansk Region, Russia, Ukrainian troops struck an enemy radar station.
In occupied Donetsk, a site used for storing, preparing and launching strike drones was hit.
Also in Petropavlivka, Luhansk Region, a drone operator training centre belonging to the Akhmat unit was hit. The centre specialised in training FPV drone operators and other unmanned systems.
In addition, in Snizhne, Donetsk Region, the Snizhne Machine-Building Plant was hit.
The Snizhne Machine-Building Plant specialises in manufacturing parts for gas turbine engines, including compressor and turbine discs and blades.
The facility is used by Russia’s defence industry to produce military goods, including components for aircraft engines.
The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.
