President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine’s long-range strikes on targets in Russia have delivered good results.
He shared this on social media.
According to him, in Russia’s Saratov and Volgograd regions, an enterprise and an oil industry facility were hit.
“There are good results from our long-range strikes in reducing Russia’s capacity to wage war,” Zelenskyy noted.
The President also said there were results from Ukrainian strikes in the Black Sea. Long-range strike assets were used against targets in Russia’s Dagestan, Udmurtia, and the Tula, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm and Samara regions.
Zelenskyy thanked everyone working to develop Ukraine’s long-range capabilities.
“I thank everyone who is strengthening Ukraine’s power so that nothing that supports the war in Russia has any safe places left,” the President said.
- On the night of 11 September, units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine struck the Saratov oil refinery. Fires were recorded on the site after the strike.
