Air defence forces were operating in the Khmelnytskyi region during a Russian attack. As a result of debris from an enemy drone falling on the grounds of one of the businesses in Khmelnytskyi district, a fire broke out.
This was reported by the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Tiurin.
According to him, the relevant services are working at the scene. No information about fatalities or injuries has been received so far.
The circumstances of the debris falling and the consequences of the fire are being clarified.
- Since the night of 13 September, the enemy has been carrying out a massive attack on western Ukraine using Shahed-type strike UAVs. Enemy drones have been spotted in the Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. People are being urged to remain in shelters.
