The 1,663rd day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Overall, 249 combat clashes were recorded over the past day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out two missile strikes and 98 air strikes, during which it dropped 348 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the invaders used 11,357 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,815 shelling attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops.
In Sumy region, the settlements of Pysarivka, Ulanove, Khotin, Yastrubshchyna, Sadky, Ivolzhanske, Vilna, Mohrytsia, Luzhky and Seredyna-Buda came under enemy artillery fire; in Chernihiv region — Hirsk. In addition, air strikes hit areas around the settlements of Sinne, Sukhodil, Tovstodubove, Luzhky and Kindrativka in Sumy region.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces struck two areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, four artillery systems and one control point for unmanned aerial vehicles.
On the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk axes, over the past day our defenders repelled 10 enemy assaults in the areas of Sadky, Bachivsk, Ulanove, Hiroky and Ryzhivka.
On the South Slobozhanskyi axis, Ukrainian units repelled 14 enemy attacks. The invaders tried to advance in the areas of Izbytske, Starytsia and Lyman, as well as towards Vilcha and Komisarove.
On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy attacked three times in the areas of Kurylivka and Novoosynove.
Attempts to break into our defences were repelled on the Lyman axis, where the occupiers attacked four times in the area of Lyman, as well as towards Novoselivka and Cherneshchyna.
On the Sloviansk axis, the enemy carried out six assault actions in the areas of Zakitne and Yampil, as well as towards Mykolaivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the enemy did not conduct assault actions over the past day.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, 15 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault actions in the areas of Kostiantynivka and Illinivka, as well as towards Rozkishne and Rusyn Yar.
On the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders repelled 29 attacks. The enemy was active in the areas of Shakhove, Molodetske, Bilytske, Serhiivka and Udachne, and also carried out assaults towards Toretske, Kucheriv Yar, Stepiv, Dorozhnie, Svitle, Shevchenko, Matiasheve, Novohryshyne, Hryshyne and Novopidhordne.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the invaders carried out one attack towards the settlement of Rybne.
On the Huliaipole axis, the occupiers attacked nine times. The enemy tried to advance towards Rivne, Kosivtseve, Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove and Charivne.
On the Orikhiv axis, our defenders stopped three attempts by the enemy to advance in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Shcherbaky and Stepnohirsk.
On the Dnieper axis, the enemy did not conduct assault actions over the past day.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
- Overall, over the past day Russian invader losses amounted to 1,520 personnel. Two tanks, eight armoured combat vehicles, 77 artillery systems, five multiple launch rocket systems, two air defence assets, 17 ground-based robotic systems, 2,142 unmanned aerial vehicles, eight missiles, 410 vehicles and five units of special equipment were also destroyed.
