On the night of 14 September, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 108 drones. Air defences neutralised 85 of them. Strikes were recorded at seven locations.
“On the night of 14 September (from 18:00 on 13 September), the enemy attacked with 108 Shahed-type strike UAVs (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, and ‘Parodiya’-type decoy drones from the following directions: Oryol, Kursk — Russian Federation; temporarily occupied Donetsk and the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea — Hvardiiske,” they said.
The air attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defences shot down/suppressed 85 enemy Shahed-type UAVs, Gerbera, and drones of other types.
As of the morning, the attack is ongoing, with enemy UAVs still in the airspace.
