Yesterday, 13 September, and overnight into 14 September, units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces struck a number of key Russian military sites. The 92N6 radar from the S-400 Triumf system, strike UAV launch sites and enemy command-and-control assets were hit.
This was stated in a General Staff report.
In Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, Russia, a multifunctional 92N6 radar station from the S-400 Triumf surface-to-air missile system was hit.
The 92N6 radar is a multifunctional radar station. It provides tracking of aerial targets and guidance of surface-to-air missiles towards them. Within the S-400, this station is one of the key elements directly responsible for carrying out the air-defence system’s fire missions.
In the areas of Kursk in Russia’s Kursk Region and Donetsk, sites used for the storage, preparation and launch of strike UAVs were hit. In Novohrodivka, Donetsk Region, a unit UAV control point was hit.
In Lityzh, Trostenchyk and Lypovka in Russia’s Bryansk Region, Russian radar stations were hit, and in the area of the Saky airfield in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, the occupiers’ short-range radio navigation system was hit.
In Rokhmanove, Krasnyy Stiah and Kamin in Russia’s Bryansk Region, three Russian relay stations were damaged.
The extent of the damage is being clarified.
Work against the key military targets of the Russian aggressor continues, the General Staff said.
