In Sumy Region, one person was killed and five others were injured over the past day as a result of Russian attacks.
The regional police reported this.
Over the past day, Russian forces shelled 17 settlements in Sumy Region. The enemy used guided aerial bombs, attack drones, FPV drones and mortars. Police investigative teams worked at the impact sites, documenting the consequences of war crimes.
In the Novoslobidska community, a 53-year-old man was killed in an attack by an enemy drone, and another man, aged 50, was wounded.
In the Konotop community, a 74-year-old man was wounded and a 75-year-old woman was injured after an enemy drone strike.
In the Krolevets community, a 14-year-old boy was injured in a UAV attack.
In the Seredyna-Buda community, a 49-year-old woman was wounded in a mortar attack.
For each suspected war crime, police investigators opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
