The Defence Forces struck an oil refinery in Syzran, a drone manufacturing facility in Taganrog, as well as a drone training and launch site in Oryol Region.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared new results of the strikes on social media.
The President separately noted a hit in the Black Sea.
Zelenskyy also highlighted the United States’ decision regarding Russia’s VTB bank. He described it as one of Russia’s systemically important banks and said the financial institution is significantly involved in schemes supporting Russia’s war, including in Moscow’s dealings with Tehran.
All schemes that work against establishing peace must be dismantled. The Head of State thanked partners for this decision.
"Ending this war has no alternative. And all forms of pressure on Russia must create the right diplomatic situation," the President stressed.
The General Staff Reported That “Atlant Aero” Was Also Hit
The General Staff also confirmed the strike on the Syzran refinery in Samara Region and the “Atlant Aero” enterprise in Taganrog, Rostov Region.
At the Syzran refinery, a hit and a subsequent fire were recorded. The AVT-6 primary oil processing unit and the tank farm were struck. The facility is part of Rosneft’s structure and supplies, among other things, the needs of Russian forces.
Explosions occurred on the premises of “Atlant Aero” and a fire broke out. The enterprise manufactures drones and components for them, including Molniya strike-reconnaissance UAVs and components for Orion.
- The results of the strike on the “Slavyansk EKO” refinery on 13 September were also confirmed: three tanks were destroyed and eight were damaged.
