Since the start of 2026, losses of the Russian army in manpower have reached 301,030 servicemen killed and wounded.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
For comparison, this figure is equivalent to the personnel of almost 150 motor rifle regiments, assuming a notional strength of 2,000 troops per regiment.
The Russians suffered the heaviest losses over the three summer months — 124,170 servicemen. In June, the figure was 39,290 people; in July, 42,860; and in August, 42,020. As of 15 September, Russian losses already stand at 20,360 troops this month.
- Over the previous day, 14 September, the Defence Forces eliminated 1,400 Russian occupiers. Overall, since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost about 1,510,000 troops in Ukraine.
