The 1,670th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. In total, 234 combat clashes were recorded over the past day.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 98 air strikes, during which it dropped 313 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 10,856 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,689 attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops, 58 of them using multiple-launch rocket systems.
Enemy shelling, in particular, hit the settlements of Bezsalivka, Pustohorod, Bachivsk, Korenok, Ulanove, Rivne, Kruzhok, Potapivka, Obody, Mala Korchakivka, Pysarivka, Sadky, Mohrytsia, Korchakivka, Sumy, Sopych, Hirky, Romashkove, Fotovyzh, Volfyne in Sumy region; Khrinivka, Krasnyi Khutir and Mykhalchyna-Sloboda in Chernihiv region. Vilcha Sloboda and Korenok were hit by air strikes.
Over the past day, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces struck four areas where enemy personnel and equipment were concentrated, four UAV control points, four artillery systems and artillery positions, as well as a command post and an anti-aircraft missile system belonging to the occupiers.
In the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors, four enemy assault actions were recorded over the past day. The aggressor carried out 122 attacks on the positions of our troops and on populated areas.
In the South Slobozhanskyi sector, Ukrainian units repelled 10 enemy attacks. The invaders tried to advance towards the settlements of Lyman, Artilne, Ternova, Mala Vovcha, Vilkhuvatka, Sheviakivka and Dovzhanka.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy twice tried to improve its positions by conducting assault actions in the areas of Kurylivka and Kivsharivka.
Attempts to break into our defences were repelled in the Lyman sector, where the occupiers attacked 15 times in the areas of the settlements of Novoiehorivka, Cherneshchyna, Novoselivka, Zarichne, Stavky, Lyman and Dibrova.
In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy carried out four assault actions, in the area of the settlements of Yampil and Mykolaivka, and towards Pyskunivka and Orikhuvatka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian invaders conducted one offensive action towards Yurkivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, 25 attacks were recorded, in the area of the settlement of Kostiantynivka and towards Osykove, Dovha Balka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Mykolaipillia, Stepiv and Vilne.
The enemy carried out 21 attacks in the Pokrovsk sector. The occupiers tried to advance towards the settlements of Dobropillia, Vodianske, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Serhiivka and Molodetske.
In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers attacked once towards the settlement of Kopani.
In the Oleksandrivka, Orikhiv and Prydniprovske sectors, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
Overall, over the past day, Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 1,560 personnel. Four tanks, four armoured combat vehicles, 56 artillery systems, three multiple-launch rocket systems, two air defence assets, 23 ground robotic systems, 1,833 unmanned aerial vehicles, 423 vehicles and 13 units of special equipment were also neutralised.
