In the Fastiv district of Kyiv region, a Russian attack has killed three people – a mother and two young children, a girl and a boy.
This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko.
The attack also damaged private homes and a car. A fire broke out in one of the houses, which has already been extinguished. Emergency services continue to work at the sites and document the consequences of the attack.
Earlier, Tkachenko noted that in the Vyshhorod district of Kyiv region, a Russian attack injured two people – a mother and a child. Both were taken to a local hospital.
The attack also damaged an educational institution and a bus. State Emergency Service rescuers are working at the scene to deal with the aftermath of the strike.
- Over the past day, 18 September, Russian forces continued to attack Kyiv region with strike drones. Air-raid alerts in the region were effectively almost continuous. Nine civilian sites were damaged in four districts of the region. Three sites were damaged in the Obukhiv district, one in Vyshhorod, two more in Boryspil, and three in Bucha.
- Five warehouse facilities were also damaged. A production facility and a garage were damaged, as well as vehicles and a multi-storey apartment building.
