SBU chief Oleksandr Poklad informed President Volodymyr Zelenskyy about the development and successful use of a new interceptor drone against jet-powered Shaheds.
This was stated on Zelenskyy’s Telegram channel.
“A report from SBU chief Oleksandr Poklad. There is a good result from the Security Service’s military counter-intelligence in countering jet-powered Shaheds,” the message says.
Zelenskyy noted that a new interceptor drone has been developed and has already been used successfully.
- Yesterday, Zelenskyy said that interceptors for jet-powered Shaheds from two companies had successfully passed combat trials.
- Earlier, after a meeting with Commander-in-Chief Mykhaylo Drapatyy, Zelenskyy reported one positive result from tests of interceptors against jet-powered Shaheds — during testing, they managed to shoot down a Russian drone.
