Ukraine’s Defence Forces have carried out the “Schwarzer Vogel” (“Black Bird”) operation in the southern sector.

The 422nd Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment LUFTWAFFE spoke about it.

The military said they hit or destroyed the main energy supply sources of the Russian occupation forces. Due to shortages of petrol and diesel fuel, Russian troops in the southern sector began switching to gas-powered generation.

To ensure an uninterrupted energy supply, they were building separate gas pipelines. The situation was monitored by intelligence from the Southern Operational Command, the 17th Army Corps intelligence unit, and 422 LUFTWAFFE intelligence.

At present, the “Schwarzer Vogel” operation, according to the military, is in its final stage. The active capability of Russian forces in this area has significantly decreased. As a result of the operation, civilians were not harmed.

  • Meanwhile, the Third Army Corps is conducting an offensive in the north of Donetsk Region. Commander Andrii Biletskyi revealed details of Operation “Vivaldi”, which was carried out under a complete information blackout. The first phase was aimed at eliminating the infiltration of Russian troops and disrupting their logistics.
  • As a result of Ukrainian units’ search-and-strike actions, enemy infiltration pockets were destroyed in the areas of Novoselivka, Oleksandrivka, Yarova and on the outskirts of Korovyi Yar. In total, about 75 square kilometres were cleared of infiltrators. The “formative” element of the first phase was the liberation of Serednie, which is now fully under the control of the Defence Forces.
