Since the start of the day on 19 September, 188 combat engagements have taken place on the front line. Russian forces carried out one missile strike and 64 air strikes, dropping 199 guided aerial bombs. The occupiers also deployed 6,084 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,006 strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an operational update.

On the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes two assault actions were recorded since the start of the day. Russian forces carried out 74 strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna axis the enemy attacked the positions of the Defence Forces six times towards Lyman, Artilne, Ternova, Mala Vovcha, Vilkhuvatka and Sheviakivka. On the Kupiansk axis the Russians twice tried to improve their positions during assaults in the areas of Kurylivka and Kivsharivka.

On the Lyman axis the Defence Forces repelled seven Russian attempts to advance in the areas of Novoiehorivka, Novoselivka and Lyman. One attack was still ongoing.

On the Sloviansk axis Ukrainian troops stopped three enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Yampil, Mykolaivka and towards Pyskunivka. On the Kramatorsk axis Russian forces did not conduct any assault actions.

The highest number of attacks was recorded on the Kostiantynivka axis – 18. The Russians assaulted in the area of Kostiantynivka and towards Osykove, Dovha Balka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Mykolaipillia, Stepiv and Vilne. Two assault actions were still ongoing.

On the Pokrovsk axis the enemy carried out 15 attacks, trying to advance towards Dobropillia, Vodianske, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Serhiivka and Molodetske.

According to preliminary estimates, 29 occupiers were killed on this axis over the past day, with another 17 wounded. The Defence Forces destroyed six vehicles, 11 items of specialised equipment and two personnel shelters. A further five vehicles, two items of specialised equipment, four UAV control points and 51 personnel shelters were damaged. In addition, Ukrainian troops destroyed or suppressed 84 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types.

On the Huliaipole axis the Defence Forces repelled one Russian attack towards Kopani.

On the Oleksandrivka, Dnipro and Orikhiv axes, the occupiers did not conduct offensive actions. On other axes, according to the General Staff, there were no significant changes in the situation.
