Over the past day, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and 12 settlements across the region. Five people were injured in the shelling, including a 14-year-old boy.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
In Balakliia, a 14-year-old boy suffered an acute stress reaction, and a 19-year-old man was wounded. In Derhachi, a 32-year-old woman was injured. In Zolochiv, a 72-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction. In Izium, a 50-year-old man was wounded.
Kharkiv was attacked by Russian forces using drones. The Slobidskyi and Industrialnyi districts of the city came under fire.
Overall, across Kharkiv region the Russian army used:
- 2 missiles;
- 2 multiple-launch rocket systems;
- 3 Molniia-type UAVs;
- 8 FPV drones;
- 11 UAVs, the type of which is being established.
As a result of the attacks, civilian infrastructure was damaged and destroyed in several districts of the region.
In Bohodukhiv district, in particular in Zolochiv, a car, two private houses, outbuildings and power lines were damaged.
In Kupiansk district, a car was damaged in the village of Troitske.
The greatest damage was recorded in Izium district. In Balakliia, five private houses, two shops, two outbuildings, a garage and an administrative building were damaged. In Barvinkove, railway infrastructure, two cars and two shops were damaged. In Izium, two private houses, two cars and an outbuilding were damaged.
In Kharkiv district, two cars, a private house and a shop were damaged in Derhachi, as well as a car in the village of Bilashi.
In Lozova district, a private house was damaged in the village of Vyshneve and power lines in Blyzniuky. In Chuhuiv district, two private houses, a community centre, an educational institution and a bus were damaged in the village of Artemivka.
Meanwhile, the transit evacuation point in Lozova received 201 people over the past day. Since it began operating, 60,890 people have already been registered there.
