The Joint Interagency Task Force South, operating under the command of the US Armed Forces’ Southern Command, struck a speedboat in the Caribbean on 19 September.

US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) reported this on X.

According to the US command, the boat was operating along known drug-trafficking routes. SOUTHCOM said intelligence had confirmed the vessel was being used to transport drugs.

As a result of the operation, US forces killed four people whom SOUTHCOM described as “narco-terrorists”.

The operation was carried out by Joint Interagency Task Force South, which operates under the command of the US Armed Forces’ Southern Command.
