The 1,676th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. In total, 205 combat clashes were recorded on the front over the past day.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 79 air strikes, dropping 277 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 9,223 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,636 attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops, 44 of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
In Sumy Region, enemy artillery shelling hit the settlements of Havrylova-Sloboda, Seredyna-Buda, Tovstodubove, Ulanove, Fotovyzh, Yastrubshchyna, Hyryne, Sopych, Bachivsk, Potapivka, Korenok, Rivne, Bezsalivka, Neskuchne, Volfyne, Pavlivka, Kindrativka, Rohizne, Pysarivka, Mala Korchakivka, Oleksiivka, Khrapivshchyna, Mohrytsia, Myropillia; and Mykhalchyna Sloboda in Chernihiv Region. In addition, air strikes hit areas around the settlements of Korenok, Vakalivshchyna and Sumy.
Over the past day, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces struck three UAV command and launch points, six artillery systems and an enemy ammunition depot.
On the North Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, our defenders repelled seven enemy assaults over the past day. The occupiers carried out four air strikes using 11 guided aerial bombs and launched 128 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
On the South Slobozhanshchyna axis, Ukrainian units repelled 11 enemy attacks. The invaders tried to advance near the settlements of Lyman, Synelnykove, Vilcha and Chaikivka, and towards Kudiivka, Izbytske, Zakharivka, Malyi Burluk and Putnykove.
On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy attacked once in the area of Kivsharivka.
Attempts to break into our defences were repelled on the Lyman axis, where the occupiers attacked three times in the areas of the settlements of Kopanky and Novoselivka.
On the Sloviansk axis, the enemy carried out five assault actions near the settlement of Kryva Luka and towards Starodubivka, Mykolaivka and Orikhuvatka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the enemy did not conduct any assault actions over the past day.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, 21 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault actions in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Stepanivka, Novoselivka, Rusyn Yar and Vilne.
On the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders repelled 21 attacks. The enemy was active in the areas of the settlements of Dorozhnie, Svitle, Vodianske, Krasnopillia and Molodetske, and in the directions of Hannivka, Novyi Donbas, Dobropillia, Serhiivka and Novopavlivka.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, our defenders stopped two attempts by the enemy to advance towards Zaporizke.
On the Huliaipole axis, the occupiers attacked seven times. The enemy tried to advance towards the settlements of Rizdvianka, Vozdvyzhivka and Kopani.
On the Orikhiv axis, our defenders stopped two attempts by the enemy to advance towards the settlement of Pavlivka.
On the Dnipro axis, the enemy did not conduct any assault actions.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
- Overall, over the past day, Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 1,710 personnel. Also destroyed were seven tanks, 20 armoured combat vehicles, 96 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, four air defence systems, 12 ground robotic systems, 1,445 unmanned aerial vehicles, 576 vehicles and eight units of the enemy’s specialised equipment.
