On the night of 26 September, the Russians struck Kharkiv with drones. At least two munitions were recorded in the Kyivskyi district, and there was also a hit in the Saltivskyi district.
According to Mayor Ihor Terekhov, the strikes hit an area near non-residential buildings. Cars were damaged, and some of them caught fire.
Initially, the mayor reported two people injured, but later the number of casualties rose to four.
Ukraine’s State Emergency Service adds that the occupiers also carried out UAV strikes on the outskirts of Kharkiv.
As a result of the enemy drones hitting their targets, three separate fires broke out: structural elements of a previously destroyed building, a car, and a private two-storey residential house were burning.
Residential buildings, an educational institution and a car were damaged.
