Since the start of the day on 26 September, 175 combat clashes have taken place on the front line. Russian forces carried out 57 air strikes, dropping 186 guided aerial bombs, deployed 6,681 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,013 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

Russian forces carried out the highest number of attacks on the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka axes. On the Pokrovsk axis, 26 attacks were recorded — the enemy tried to advance towards Dorozhnie, Hannivka, Novyi Donbas, Bilytske, Dobropillia, Svitle, Hulove, Serhiivka, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka and Novopavlivka. Two battles are still ongoing.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, Ukrainian troops repelled 22 assaults in the area of Kostiantynivka and towards Illinivka, Toretske, Rusyn Yar, Pryiut, Shakhove, Vilne, Stepiv and Kucherovyi Yar. One Russian attack is continuing.
On the Lyman axis Ukrainian troops repelled six Russian attempts to advance near Novoselivka, Drobyshcheve, Lyman and Dibrova. Two attacks are still ongoing.
On the Sloviansk axis the Defence Forces stopped the enemy three times in the areas of Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka and Mykolaivka; one more assault is ongoing. On the Kupiansk axis the Russians attacked twice towards Radkivka and Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi; one attack is continuing.
On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy twice tried to attack the positions of Ukrainian troops towards Ternova and Kozacha Lopan. On the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes one assault action was recorded, along with two guided aerial bombs and 30 shelling attacks.
On the Huliaipole axis the Defence Forces repelled five attacks near Kosivtseve, Vozdvyzhivka, Rivne and Hirke. On the Oleksandrivka axis, the Russians attacked towards Voskresenka and Berezove.
There were no assault actions on the Orikhiv, Prydniprovske and Kramatorsk axes.
On the Pokrovsk axis, according to preliminary estimates, Ukrainian troops eliminated 44 Russian servicemen and wounded another 17. A tank, three vehicles, an artillery piece, six items of special equipment, 45 shelters and a UAV control point were also destroyed. In addition, Ukrainian troops destroyed or suppressed 332 drones of various types.
