Ukrainian defenders struck a Pantsir-S2 surface-to-air missile and gun system, as well as command posts and drone launch sites used by the occupiers. As the General Staff reported, yesterday, 27 September, and overnight into 28 September 2026, units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces hit a number of important military facilities of the Russian army.
In the area of the town of Sel’tso in Russia’s Bryansk region, a Pantsir-S2 anti-aircraft missile and gun system was hit.
In Vynohradivka, Zaporizhzhia region, a UAV command post and a temporary deployment point for an enemy UAV unit were hit.
In Donetsk, a site used for storing, preparing and launching strike UAVs was hit.
As the General Staff stressed, the systematic targeting of such facilities is aimed at reducing the intensity of the Russian army’s use of strike drones and maximising the degradation of its ability to carry out attacks with them against Ukrainian territory.
In addition, in Donetsk region, a repair unit was hit in Mariupol; ammunition depots were hit in Makiivka and Ustynivka; and a warehouse of materiel belonging to the Russian occupiers was hit in Nikolske.
Work against the key military targets of the Russian aggressor continues.
