The 1,678th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. In total, 229 combat engagements were recorded over the past day. The highest number of battles took place on the Kostyantynivka axis of the front.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 90 air strikes, dropping 277 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 8,845 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,918 attacks on settlements and the positions of our troops.
In Sumy region, the населений пунктs of Havrylivska Sloboda, Korchakivka, Pysarivka, Yastrubshchyna, Korenok, Mohrytsia, Tovstodubove, Sadky, Mar’ine and Pustohorod came under Russian artillery fire. In addition, the areas of Sumy, Khotin and Vilna Sloboda were hit by air strikes.
Over the past day, the Defence Forces’ aviation, missile troops and artillery struck two areas where enemy personnel were concentrated and four Russian UAV control points.
On the North Slobozhanshchyna axis the invaders attacked six times in the areas of Bachivsk, Hirok and Volfyne.
On the South Slobozhanshchyna axis Ukrainian units repelled seven Russian attacks. The invaders tried to advance in the areas of Starytsia, Kozacha Lopan, Volokhivske and Prykolotne.
On the Kupiansk axis the enemy attacked twice in the areas of Kivsharivka and Kolisnykivka.
Attempts to break into our defences were repelled on the Lyman axis, where the occupiers attacked seven times in the areas of Kolodiazi, Novoselivka, Zarichne, Lyman and Dibrova.
On the Slovyansk axis the Russian army carried out three assault actions in the area of the settlement of Mykolaivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis the occupiers attacked once towards the settlement of Fedorivka Druha.
On the Kostyantynivka axis 25 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault actions in the areas of Mykolaipillia, Kostiantynivka, Novoselivka, Illinivka, Dovha Balka and Rusyn Yar.
On the Pokrovsk axis our defenders stopped 20 attacks. The enemy was active in the areas of Serhiivka and Molodetske, and also carried out assaults towards Dobropillia, Vilne, Bilytske, Chernihivka and Myrne.
On the Oleksandrivka axis the invaders carried out five attacks towards the settlements of Sichneve and Verbove.
On the Huliaipole axis the occupiers attacked 12 times. The enemy tried to advance in the areas of Rizdvianka, Kopani, Yehorivka and Myrne.
On the Orikhiv and Dnipro axes the enemy did not conduct assault actions over the past day.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes no signs of the Russian forces forming offensive groupings were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the Russians, putting up effective resistance along all sections of the frontline.
- Overall, over the past day the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 2,090 personnel. One tank, eight armoured combat vehicles, 49 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, two air defence assets, 12 ground robotic systems, 1,382 unmanned aerial vehicles, 490 vehicles and seven units of the enemy’s special equipment were also destroyed.
