Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that overnight, “long-range sanctions” were used against targets in Russia and the Black Sea.
“We consistently respond with our long-range capability to Russian strikes against life. Overnight, our sanctions were applied against two defence plants — in the Tula and Voronezh regions. Over the past day, SBU units also did a good job against the aggressor’s oil facilities in the Krasnodar region,” the head of state reported.
Sanctions were also applied against facilities in the Kaluga and Oryol regions, which the Russians use for drone terror against Ukraine. In the Bryansk region, operations were carried out directly against the occupation contingent. There were also hits on a target in the Black Sea, the president said.
- On the night of 28 September, the Security Service of Ukraine carried out successful strikes on four oil depots in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai.
- Yesterday, 27 September, and on the night of 28 September 2026, units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces struck a number of important military facilities of the Russian army.
