Sumy came under another drone attack on 29 September. At around 10am, Russians struck the Kovpakivskyi district of the city. A multi-storey residential building and cars were damaged.
There were casualties, acting mayor Artem Kobzar reported. Two civilian men sustained shrapnel wounds.
“Both of the injured have been taken to hospital,” he said.
Rescue workers, municipal services and emergency crews are working at the strike site. Materials to cover the damaged windows have already been delivered.
