Ukraine has managed to bring back two boys and two girls aged between 6 and 16 from the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
Four more children from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region have been returned to territory controlled by Ukraine. They are two boys and two girls aged between 6 and 16.
The return took place with the support of the charity Save Ukraine as part of the presidential initiative Bring Kids Back UA.
The children are currently staying at the “Hope and Recovery” centres, where they are receiving psychological support, help with documents, safe shelter and everything necessary for their recovery.
According to Prokudin, since the start of the year it has already been possible to return 208 children from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region.
"Thank you to everyone who is helping to bring our children back. We will keep working until every child from the Kherson region who is under occupation returns home," the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration noted.
- On Tuesday, it was possible to return 14 children from the occupied part of the Kherson region to territory controlled by Ukraine.
