The 1,683rd day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Overall, 194 combat engagements were recorded along the front over the past day.
This is stated in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s morning report.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out one missile strike and 90 air strikes, during which it dropped 275 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the invaders used 9,522 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,435 strikes on populated areas and our troops’ positions, 33 of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
Enemy shelling, in particular, hit the settlements of Bezsalivka, Korenok, Tovstodubove, Potapivka, Sopych, Bachivsk, Neskuchne, Ulanove, Volfyne, Malushyne, Bunyachyne, Brusky, Kruzhok, Velyka Berizka, Ryzhivka, Havrylova Sloboda, Iskryskivshchyna, Rohizne, Budky, Znob-Novhorodske, Seredyna-Buda, Yastrubshchyna and Kozache in Sumy Region; and Mykhalchyna Sloboda, Buchky and Bleshniа in Chernihiv Region. The settlement of Pustohorod was hit by an air strike.
Over the past day, the Defence Forces’ aviation, missile troops and artillery struck a UAV control point, a concentration area for enemy assault groups, a logistics facility, five artillery systems and an enemy command post.
In the North Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors over the past day, the aggressor carried out three air strikes using five guided aerial bombs and conducted 55 attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas, two of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian units repelled eight enemy attacks. The invaders tried to advance towards the settlements of Starytsia, Vovchansk, Okhrimivka, Karaichne and Izbytske.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy tried eight times to improve its positions, conducting assault operations towards Radkivka, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi and Kurylivka.
Attempts to break into our defences were repelled in the Lyman sector, where the occupiers attacked eight times towards the settlements of Drobyshcheve, Lyman and Novoselivka.
In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy carried out four assault operations in the area of Ozerne and Mykolaivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy did not conduct any assault operations.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, 21 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault operations in the areas of the settlement of Kostiantynivka and towards Osykove, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, Novoselivka, Illinivka, Kindrashivka, Rozkishne, Hruzke and Vilne.
The enemy carried out 19 attacks in the Pokrovsk sector. The occupiers tried to advance towards the settlements of Dobropillia, Svitle, Myrne, Serhiivka and Molodetske.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, according to updated information, the enemy attacked four times towards Kalynivske, Berezove and Myrne.
In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers attacked our defenders’ positions seven times. The enemy tried to advance towards the settlements of Vozdvyzhivka, Ternuvate, Rivne and Hirke.
In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy tried once to improve its positions, attacking towards Pavlivka.
In the Dnipro sector, the occupiers carried out one assault operation.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
- Overall, over the past day, Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 1,560 personnel. Three tanks, six armoured combat vehicles, 45 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, 14 ground robotic systems, 1,645 unmanned aerial vehicles, 422 vehicles and three units of specialised enemy equipment were also destroyed.
