At midnight on 4 October, Russian forces struck Izium, preliminarily using heavy-calibre multiple rocket launch systems.
This was reported by the Izium City Military Administration.
"Today, 4 October, at around midnight, the enemy struck the city of Izium, using, according to preliminary information, heavy-calibre multiple rocket launch systems (MRLS)," the statement said.
The strikes were recorded in the Povorotka area. As a result of the attack, the grounds of a non-operational enterprise were damaged, where a fire also broke out.
Private homes were also damaged.
As of now, no information has been received about any casualties.
- In Izium, Kharkiv region, on the morning of 3 October, five people were injured as a result of a series of strikes by Russian drones. The premises of two enterprises, an apartment block and private households were also damaged.
