Maksym Vasylchenko, co-founder and CEO of defence company Tencore LLC and head of the Ukrainian Robotic Forces association, will become the new chair of the board of the Ukrainian Council of Defence Industry. The organisation announced the personnel changes on Facebook.
Vasylchenko has been on the Council’s board since its founding. In addition, he leads Tencore LLC, which develops and manufactures unmanned robotic systems. Its key developments include the multi-purpose TerMIT robotic platform.
Kamyshin will remain a member of the Council’s board. Going forward, he will focus on international and investment co-operation, including continuing to develop the Council’s Investor Club, which currently brings together 24 investment funds.
The Ukrainian Council of Defence Industry is a platform that consolidates the private defence industry to enable effective engagement with government bodies, the military and international partners. It began operating in February 2025.
The chair of the Council’s board at the time was the President’s adviser on strategic issues and former Minister for Strategic Industries, Oleksandr Kamyshin.
Ihor Fedirka was appointed executive director — a former deputy director of Ukroboronservice for humanitarian demining and head of the State Centre for Humanitarian Demining.
The Council’s members include: the League of Defence Enterprises, the Ukrainian Robotic Forces, the Association of EW/ELINT Manufacturers, Techosystem Defense, the Defence Alliance, the Association of Manufacturers of Unmanned Systems and Related Technologies ARMADA, and the D3 Venture Capital investment fund.
As of October 2026, the Council’s ecosystem had grown to more than 400 participants over the course of its work, according to the organisation.
