President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced new agreements with international partners on supplying weapons to Ukraine and setting new tasks for long-range operations.
The president said this on his social media.
According to the head of state, he held a meeting with the Defence Ministry team and the diplomatic team of the President’s Office on the schedules for weapons deliveries from partners.
“The agreements are absolutely clear, and every day at the political level with leaders we are adding new agreements,” Zelenskyy noted.
This concerns munitions for combat aviation, including Ukraine’s F-16s, additional funding for the production of drones of various types and missiles, as well as joint manufacturing projects with European partners.
The president stressed that he expects the agreed deadlines for implementing each agreement to be met.
Separately, Zelenskyy discussed with Defence Minister Yevhen Khmara and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi the implementation of Ukraine’s long-range operations. He said new tasks had also been set for them.
