The Russian army carried out a massive overnight strike on Kremenchuk in Poltava Region on 7 October. A residential neighbourhood was hit.
As of the morning, information on any casualties is still being clarified. The head of the regional military administration, Vitalii Diaivnychnych, posted photos of the aftermath on Facebook.
The images show damage to several high-rise blocks and a large number of passenger cars parked in the courtyards of residential buildings.
“During a massive missile attack, a strike on a residential neighbourhood in Kremenchuk was recorded. Apartment buildings were damaged. All services have been dispatched to the scene. Information on those injured is being уточнюється. The enemy also hit one of the enterprises in Kremenchuk District,” the statement said.
