Throughout 7 October, Russian troops attacked settlements in the Kherson region with barrel artillery and various types of drones. Four civilians were injured as a result of the shelling.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
In Kherson, two men were injured after explosives were dropped from Russian drones. One more person was injured in an artillery strike.
In Bilozerka, a civilian was injured in a drone attack.
Russian shelling also damaged private homes, apartment buildings and cars.
Law enforcement officers have opened a pre-trial investigation into the attacks under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — war crimes.
Prosecutors, together with police investigators, are documenting the consequences of the Russian attacks.
