After midday on 7 October, Russia continued to attack Kyiv with drones. At least six people were injured in the capital as a result of falling debris.
This was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and the Kyiv City Military Administration.
According to the State Emergency Service, in the Solomianskyi district a fire broke out in a five-storey residential building from the 1st to the 3rd floors as a result of Russian shelling. Firefighters rescued 12 people from the upper floors. Seven people were injured. One of them was taken to hospital.
Also, at another address, one person was injured. There is no fire or damage. An SES Kyiv identification officer is working at the scene.
In the Sviatoshynskyi district, debris fell onto the roof of a four-storey administrative building.
In addition, debris fell near an educational institution in the Dniprovskyi district. Preliminary reports indicate there was no fire.
Overall, the number of people injured as a result of Russia’s attack on Kyiv has risen to eight.
