On the night of 9 October 2026, units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces struck facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation involved in missile launches and the production of rocket fuel.

The General Staff reported this.

In the area of the settlement of Dalne Konstantinovo-5 in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod region, a facility of a branch of JSC “Centre for the Operation of Ground-Based Space Infrastructure Facilities” (TsENKI) — the V. P. Barmin Research Institute of Launch Complexes — was hit. The institute works in the field of developing, maintaining and operating launch complexes, fuelling equipment and control systems for rockets.

In the area of the settlement of Redkino in Russia’s Tver region, the Redkino Experimental Plant was hit. The enterprise is involved in the production chains of the enemy’s military-industrial complex. It manufactures components of the fuel “Detsilin-M” for Kh-55 and Kh-101 cruise missiles, as well as additives for diesel fuel and aviation kerosene. It is under international sanctions.

In addition, to weaken the enemy military-industrial complex’s capacity to produce explosives and rocket fuel, the Centre for the Elimination of Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles in the area of the settlement of Surovatikha in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod region was hit.

The General Staff stresses that striking such facilities is Ukraine’s exercise of its inherent right to self-defence in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter and is aimed at reducing the military, economic and technological potential of the aggressor state.

Work against the enemy’s key military targets continues.
