In Kherson Region, two civilians were killed and five others injured in Russian shelling on 9 October. The occupiers struck with rocket and tube artillery as well as drones.

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

At around 06:20, Russian troops dropped explosives from a drone onto a street in the village of Shyroka Balka. A 74-year-old woman was killed in the attack, and another local resident was injured.

In the village of Sadove, a 68-year-old man who was in his home at the time was killed in an overnight artillery strike.

Four more people were injured in an artillery attack on Novovorontsovka.

Private homes and a food warehouse were also damaged in the region.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into alleged war crimes. Prosecutors, together with investigators, are documenting the consequences of the Russian shelling.
