A new course, "Countering FPV at the Tactical Level", has appeared in the "Army+" app. It focuses on preparing service personnel for threats posed by FPV drones while carrying out combat missions.
The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reported this.
The course consists of ten lessons. Service personnel will learn how to reduce risks on the battlefield, avoid detection by the enemy and not make common mistakes.
In particular, the training covers the following topics:
identifying different types of FPV drones and their characteristics;
camouflaging positions and ways to avoid detection by the enemy;
using cover, camouflage and protective equipment;
organising observation;
actions during and after drone attacks.
The course was developed by the public organisation “Magura” with the participation of service personnel who have practical experience countering FPV drones in combat conditions.
In addition, "Army+" also offers other courses dedicated to unmanned systems and protection against them. These include "Drone Air Defence", "Basics of Electronic Warfare", "Fibre-Optic Drones: Basics of Use" and "GRAPHITE: Real-Time Monitoring of Enemy UAVs".
