In Konotop in Sumy region, power supply has been restored for all consumers following a Russian attack on energy infrastructure on 24 October. Electricity is currently being supplied on a rotating basis, with the schedule managed by energy engineers.
This was reported by Ukrenergo.
The city had been without electricity for five days after a Russian strike on an energy facility. Due to the damage, critical infrastructure operated on backup power sources, and resilience centres were set up for residents.
Earlier, the government instructed the Ministry of Energy, together with Ukrenergo, to urgently restore power supply in the city. Konotop was also to be provided with a запас of дизель fuel to keep the boiler house and water utility running.
