Traffic on Kyiv’s Southern Bridge has been partially restored. The Kyiv City Military Administration reported this on the morning of 30 October.
Traffic is permitted from the left bank to the right bank. Passage is allowed for passenger cars, in one lane.
“Please take this into account when planning your route,” the statement said.
The overpass was completely closed after a ballistic attack carried out by the Russians on 27 October. The enemy had struck the bridge before, but the missile attack caused serious damage that made all traffic impossible, including the metro.
Train services across the Southern Bridge are still not operating. Since yesterday, train services on the “green” line have resumed between the Osokorky and Chervonyi Khutir stations. Trains are also running between Syrets and Vydubychi stations.
