On the night of 31 October, units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces struck the Kamensky plant, a Russian military-industrial complex facility, in the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky in Russia’s Rostov Region.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The attack involved strike drones and missile forces, including the Ukrainian Navy’s Neptune coastal missile systems.
According to preliminary information, a warehouse storing finished products caught fire at the facility, and four production workshops were also damaged.
The Kamensky plant produces solid rocket fuel for the Uragan, Smerch and Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems, as well as for a number of missile systems and air-delivered munitions.
The Defence Forces note that striking solid rocket fuel production reduces the Russian army’s ability to shell Ukrainian населённые пункты with multiple launch rocket systems.

In addition, Ukrainian forces struck four warehouses holding the Russian army’s materiel. They are located in the areas of Khartsyzk and Dokuchaievsk in Donetsk Region, Novovasylivka in Zaporizhzhia Region, and Novoaidar in Luhansk Region.
The General Staff stressed that it continues to carry out systematic strikes on targets that affect Russia’s military-economic potential, exercising Ukraine’s right to self-defence guaranteed by Article 51 of the UN Charter.
