On the night of 4 November, Ukraine’s Defence Forces carried out strikes on Russian army military targets in the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and the Zaporizhzhia and Luhansk regions.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

Among the targets hit were a Pantsir-S2 system and another Pantsir anti-aircraft missile and gun system located in occupied Crimea. Ukrainian units also struck a Russian drone control point in the area of Vladivka in the Zaporizhzhia region and a logistics warehouse near Bilovodsk in the Luhansk region.

In addition, following earlier strikes, the destruction of a warehouse building on the site of a Russian missile and artillery munitions depot near Ohorodne in the Donetsk region was confirmed. The General Staff noted that it was hit on 26 October.

  • Pantsir systems are used to protect Russian facilities in Crimea and southern Russia from Ukrainian drones and missiles. Striking such systems weakens the enemy’s air defences.
