Servicemen of the 21st Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment KRAKEN struck a Russian Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system. The Third Army Corps reported this on Telegram.

According to the corps, the target was detected and attacked by operators of the MURAMASA unit of the 21st Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment KRAKEN during Operation "Vivaldi".

The Buk-M3 is a Russian medium-range surface-to-air missile system. It is designed to intercept aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles and drones.

The system is used to provide cover for Russian troops, command posts and military infrastructure facilities against air strikes.

The Third Army Corps noted that the loss of such a system reduces the Russian forces’ air defence cover capabilities.
